Dating, Where to Go?

Dating, Where to Go?

Are you in search of creative ideas on how to have an incredible time with your date? Have you scoured the internet in search of fun date ideas but have been left disappointed by the lack of innovation?

Don't worry we've got you covered.

This is a comprehensive guide that will enable you to find fulfillment in your love life. Each date idea is destined to leave your partner in awe.

Here we go.

1. Work out Together

There's nothing that brings two people together quite like some fun physical activities. This could be a light exercise such as a walk or something much more intense like strength training or soul cycle. These tasks let you and your partner tackle a challenge together in a fun setting thereby creating a euphoria that can only be described as intoxicating.

2. Go Shopping

Another fun activity that can bring out the best in both of you is if you went shopping together. It doesn't have to involve fancy or overpriced items either.

You can simply take a walk and pick up some groceries while you catch up with your date. This is probably the most convenient date on this list as it helps you have a good time with someone interesting while running your regular errands.

3. Visit the Outdoors

Some people would rather have a date in the outdoors than pay for a fancy dinner at an overrated restaurant. They would rather find a hiking trail or a mountain path than make a reservation.

If you are one of these people then you should definitely take this route. Remember to plan ahead by dressing appropriately, picking an appropriate venue and taking note of the weather conditions.

Why should you waste another hot summer day cramped in your tiny apartment? Put on some sunscreen and let your date show you that trail that he keeps posting on his Facebook page.

4. Take a Road Trip

This is a date idea for those that have already been on a few dates with their partner and are in search of an activity that is more intimate and involving.

All you have to do is make a plan in advance and have the means to get to your destination. You can then talk or listen to some music or a podcast on the way. I personally always bring some fun snacks while on a road trip.

If done well a road trip is all you need if you want to cement that close bond with your partner. it provides you with the opportunity to open up and get vulnerable while still having fun with your partner.

5. Have a Picnic

Picnics are timeless and quite inexpensive. All you need is a place to sit, a few snacks and a date. The simplicity of the picnic is what makes it such a fun date. Neither of you will feel overwhelmed which will enable you to focus your time and energy on the aspects of dating that really matter.

I would suggest that you find a picnic site with a great atmosphere such as a garden or even the beach. This will provide an incredible backdrop and aura and definitely inspire an intimate moment.

The food and drink should be light and easy to carry around while the dress code should be relaxed and casual.

6. Go for a Photo Shoot

Regardless of how good your smartphone camera is there is still something special about attending a professional photo shoot. It's something romantic and timeless that every couple should experience at least once during their courtship.

You and your date can decide to dress according to a certain theme if you desire to spice up your photo shoot. You can also opt to have your shoot at a location of your choice, something that I would personally pay extra for if I had the chance.

Couple photo shoots are making a comeback due to the appeal of posting professionally done images on your social media accounts.

it seems as though each new couple would now prefer to skip the fancy restaurant and head straight for the Netflix and chill phase of their courtship. This is more common with young couples who don't have much of a budget to work with but don't want to compromise on the intimate nature of watching a movie together.

This date might seem a tad casual but it always works if the film selected is appropriate for the intended mood. All you need is a simple dish and some drinks to compliment the occasion.

8. Have you been to the Zoo?

Nearly every major city boasts of at least one conservancy for rare and endangered wild animals and plants. Furthermore, entry into a zoo or a botanical garden is quite easy on the pockets of young couples making this date even more attractive.

You and your date can participate in petting the animals on display and you make this even more fun by having an impromptu photo shoot with nothing but your smartphone camera and a host of fun whacky poses.

9. Groupon isn't that Bad

Hollywood has in the past five years set its agenda on painting Groupon activities as lame and boring when in reality very many couples still consider this a fun activity they can do together. I personally wouldn't mind sharing a class on preparing a unique cuisine such as Italian or Cantonese.

These Groupon dates aren't such a burden on your finances and might end up surprising in terms of the sweet deals they have available. All you have to do is ensure that you pick an activity that interests and excites both you and your date.

I recently took my date to a Jah Cure concert after having been tipped off by her best friend that she enjoys reggae music. The tickets were well priced and we got complimentary drinks as we walked into the venue.

What followed was an intense jam down by one of the most versatile and engaging bands I have ever watched live. The set was predominantly lovers rock which I come to find out is the more romantic genre in reggae music. I still haven't fully recovered my voice after all that hollering and shouting.

11. Bookstore Crawl

This is the perfect data for those of us who still pick up a book or two in our free time. It would be even more magical if our date also shared in love for literate and related penmanship. You don't have to spend a fortune at a bookstore and you get the advantage of getting to understand what intellectually stimulates your partner.

You can opt to spice this date up by visiting a series of bookstores rather than just settling on one. This is the bookworm equivalent of hitting the town on a bar crawl. It lets you embrace your inner nerd without the fear of being judged by your date.

12. Your Inner Chef can make an Appearance

There's nothing more romantic than preparing a hearty and delicious meal for your date. It is one of the most activities a couple can undertake without breaking the bank or having to deal with traffic.

The dish that is being prepared must compliment the occasion and must be accompanied by a great bottle of wine. This will set off the evening the right way and act as a precursor of another fun couple activity such as going through old photos and videos.

13. Are you into Crafts?

There are some crafts that are super involving very appropriate for couples that love to get their hands dirty. For instance, you can both attend pottery or painting lessons and have a great time. Such activities bring out the team spirit in a couple enabling them to further strengthen their bond. Similarly, this date idea is quite easy on your pockets.

14. Sports Fans know what to do

I love watching the Brooklyn Nets regardless of how poorly they've been playing. I love grabbing a large beer and rooting for my team until my throat hurts. All I need is a girl who shares in my fascination or is open-minded enough to tag along when I'm up to some foolery.

If you don't want to pay a premium for some in-game seating then you can take your date to a sports bar or host them in the comfort of your apartment. The food and drink being served should also compliment the occasion.

15. Arcades never went out of Style

If you and your date are both into the gaming culture then I would recommend you include some light gaming into your date. This could be at an arcade or even from the comfort of your home. Either way, you'll definitely have an amazing time without having to splurge.

This list is based on simple activities that are bound to engage both you and your date. These activities might seem basic but they are very engaging if they are carried out with the right person. Sometimes it's the simple things that have the most impact on your love life.
